Salt Lake City – Intermountain Healthcare announced that it has been named to the 2014 InformationWeek
Elite 100 rankings, the only Utah company to make this year’s list of top business technology innovators in the U.S.
Named to the list for the third straight year, Intermountain was honored in 2014 for the development of a new research system that streamlines the clinical study registration process, optimizes document and data management processes for clinical trials, and improves the study-tracking process. Developed jointly at the Intermountain Homer Warner Center for Informatics and the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute, it is expected to reduce clinical trial overhead time by 75 percent, reducing costs and allowing a great increase in the number of clinical studies that can be conducted.
