The Bariatrics/surgical weightloss program has been active at Dixie Regional Medical Center since January 2004. The program is designed to help severely obese patients lose weight through gastric bypass surgery or lap banding. The program also offers support for patients following the procedure to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep the weight off.
