You can't schedule emergencies, but when they happen you shouldn't have to wait for treatment.

Patients at LDS Hospital receive excellent care, and they receive it quickly. Our "door to doctor" times are among the shortest in the nation. Our board-certified physicians and other caregivers have streamlined emergency room processes to ensure the waiting room is seldom needed.

Being completely integrated with Intermountain Healthcare’s trauma service, including Life Flight, means LDS Hospital will continue to be your first choice for quick, convenient emergency service and care.

LDS Hospital is ready for emergency care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The emergency room is the most expensive place to receive care. For urgent but not life-threatening care, consider visiting an Instacare instead. Click the links below to learn more about InstaCare and find one near you.

    What is InstaCare?

Intermountain InstaCare clinics offer walk-in service for urgent — but not life-threatening — injuries and illnesses including sore throats, minor accidents,  broken bones, ear infections, and more. InstaCare clinics are a faster and less expensive alternative to your hospital’s emergency department.

If you are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headache, dizziness, or if you have been in a car accident or have a head injury, call 911 immediately or go to your nearest emergency room.
