Our team of registered dietitians offers one-on-one education counseling sessions for a variety of nutrition-related health issues, including: weight loss counseling, heart-healthy nutrition for high cholesterol and/or high blood pressure, kidney disease, cancer, celiac disease/gluten intolerance, food allergies, eating disorders, pregnancy and pediatric nutrition. Weight to Health - Weight Loss Class
This program is designed for overweight adults who desire to improve their health through lifestyle changes and weight loss. The program starts with an orientation class after which participants have 6 months to attend a variety of classes. Classes are generally held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Class topics address diet, activity and behavior changes to encourage weight loss. Participants with Select Health or Educator’s Mutual insurance may be eligible for coverage with no up-front cost, if they complete the program requirements. Diabetes Support Group
This support group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30-6:30 pm in classrooms on the first floor of Logan Regional Hospital. Attendance is free of charge.
