Primary Children's Radiothon

For 2012,  KSL NewsRadio 102.7 FM and Primary Children’s will celebrate the 36th annual KSL Primary Children’s Radiothon.

During the Radiothon, KSL personalities will broadcast live the experiences of patients, families, and staff at Primary Children’s. In addition, guests from the community will motivate callers to donate by offering incentives such as tickets, sports memorabilia, and other gifts.

A popular feature of the Radiothon is the “moose drop.”  This is where callers can make a $75 donation to have a stuffed moose delivered to a child hospitalized at Primary Children’s.

For the past 35 years, the Radiothon has raised more than $7 million dollars for the hospital. These funds are used for charity care, research, and to support special programs at the hospital such as bereavement, music therapy, toys and art supplies.
