Many modes of mass transportation are available to travel to and from Primary Children's Medical Center. Utah Transit Authority (UTA) transit schedules and maps can be found at www.rideuta.com, or you may call UTA directly at 1-888-RIDE-UTA.  UTA runs buses, TRAX (light rail), and FrontRunner (commuter train).

TRAX

UTA TRAX trains arrive and depart every 15 minutes. The TRAX train stops in front of Primary Children’s Medical Center. TRAX is also available to go downtown and to Sandy.

FrontRunner

FrontRunner, commuter rail service operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. You can catch the FrontRunner at the following rail stations:

  • Salt Lake Intermodal Hub Station, 250 South 600 West
  • Woods Cross Station, 700 South 800 West
  • Farmington Station, 450 North 850 West
  • Layton Station, 500 South Main Street
  • Clearfield Station, 1250 South State St.
  • Roy Station, 2675 Sandridge Dr. (approximately 4100 So. 2400 W.)
  • Ogden Station, 2350 South Wall Avenue
  • Pleasant View Station, 2700 North Highway 89

At the Salt Lake Intermodal Hub Station, transfer to the TRAX train marked "University" and ride until you reach the end of the line on Mario Capecchi Drive across from Primary Children's Medical Center.

Buses

Buses from all areas of the Salt Lake Valley, Ogden and Provo provide service to the University of Utah. For up-to-date route and fare information for UTA buses, you can call 801-BUS-INFO.
