Description
The CV Invasive Specialist performs duties necessary for catheterization procedures at a technical and professional level requiring minimal supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require frequent independent judgment. Assumes responsibility and initiative for designated areas and procedures as required. Maintains a complete knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology, pharmacology, anatomic anomalies, and specific treatment options. Has a thorough knowledge of invasive diagnostic and interventional supplies, appropriate indications and applications, and proper use and deployment techniques. Demonstrates strong critical thinking and good judgment skills. Anticipates patient status changes related to procedural events and takes immediate, appropriate action in response.

Minimum Requirements

IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) certified

Five years experience as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

Demonstrated mastery of 3D mapping with Carto 3 or Ensite systems

A current healthcare provider or professional rescuer Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. An original card will be verified prior to start date or the job offer will be withdrawn
