Description
The Distribution Specialist is a valued contributor to the Materials Management department. They add dimension to Intermountain Healthcares Healing commitments as they are accountable for maintaining inventory levels as well as proper storage of supplies. The Distribution specialist also ensures proper distribution of supplies and equipment.

Entry Rate: $11.53
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 8:30pm. Will also cover rotating weekends (Saturday) from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Minimum Requirements

One or more years experience in receiving, distribution, inventory control, stocking with automated systems

Excellent organization and prioritizing skills

Strong communication skills both orally and written

Ability to maintain accurate files and records

Must be able to interact daily with all levels of personnel within the organization

Must also have the ability to speak, read, comprehend and write accurately and legibly in English

Physical Requirements

This position requires physical activities such as climbing, stooping, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

Basic arithmetic skills in order to have working knowledge of packaging, warehouse units, and measurements

Work experience using AS/400 database.

One or more years health care work experience in receiving, distribution, inventory control, or stocking
