The role of the Receptionist is to provide extraordinary care to patients and customers through friendly, caring, courteous, and professional customer service. The Receptionist acts with minimal supervision while ensuring that patients and customers are courteously greeted in a timely manner and are made to feel welcome. The Receptionist also answers, screens and appropriately routes incoming telephone calls. They provide administrative support to department staff and are vital to Intermountain’s success in providing exceptional patient care. The Receptionist has the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of many on a daily basis.
Entry Rate: $ 9.61

Shift Details: PRN - Every Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm plus additional shifts as necessary.
Additional Details: Flexible schedule is necessary. Must be available to cover varying days Monday to Friday for sick calls, vacation coverage, and holiday coverage.
Position located at the Homecare metro office - 2250 South 1300 West, Salt Lake City, UT
One or more years of previous receptionist experience
Computer data entry skills (Microsoft Word processing and email)
Must have proven and effective interpersonal relationship skills
Demonstrated effective degree of organizational skills
Able to manage multiple high priority tasks
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Physical ability to perform tasks in the assigned work area
Work experience as a receptionist in a medical or hospital setting
Front office experience to include the reception and greeting of customers
Typing skills (minimum 30 WPM (words per minute)
