The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) partners with a licensed Physical Therapist in providing care and treatment to Physical Therapy patients. The PTA is a valued contributor who participates in a direct care role and is responsible for developing a healing treatment plan and implementing physical therapy treatment procedures, therapeutic activities and life skills training.
While delivering quality care a Physical Therapist Assistant acts in accordance with state licensure, laws, professional standards and ethics and is committed to providing extraordinary care to the patients they serve.
Entry Rate: $20.61/hour or higher depending on experience

Licensure by the State of Utah to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or license eligible
Graduate from an accredited PTA program

Computer keyboarding skills required for documentation of patient information
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop a positive rapport with patients and team members
Must be able to position and transfer patients independently and safely
Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Sitting, and Walking
One or more years previous Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) experience with skill sets and experience with target population in job setting
