Respiratory Equipment Assistant - Office

Under the direction of a Respiratory Therapist this position provides office/operations support that ensures timely implementation of physician orders of home medical equipment and related supplies. Fills patient orders, coordinates deliveries and responds to patient requests in a timely manner. Provides patient education.
Entry Rate: $13.00
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm. Position also requires rotating Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Department: Position is located at the Homecare Metro Office at 2250 South 1300 West, Salt Lake City.
Please Note: At the end of June, 2014, Intermountain Homecare’s Salt Lake central office will be moving to a new facility in South Jordan, located at 11520 S. Redwood Road. All employees and operations from the current location in the Metro Office will be relocated to this new facility.
High School Diploma or GED
Three or more years customer service experience
Effective communication and telephone skills
Organizational skills and ability to set priorities
Work independently and be self-motivated
Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Speaking
Previous Office Coordination experience
Health care experience
Medical equipment experience
Respiratory care knowledge either through work or school experience
