SelectHealth is looking for a junior level project manager to join our Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and energetic with some project management experience and a strong desire to develop in this field. As an Associate Project Manager, you will lead both technical and non-technical projects within an established framework. The successful candidate will have the ability to assemble project teams from multiple departments and form the team into an organized unit that is focused on a common goal.
Assists in identifying needed project resources and works with resource managers to ensure that adequate resources are in place to support the project. May help escalate project resource issues in a timely manner.
Assists in developing project cost plans, benefit plans and the overall project budget. Tracks actual costs against budget to ensure the realization of expected value from resource usage.
Assists in assigning project work, setting priorities, and providing guidance in the completion of tasks and reviewing deliverables.
Assists in identifying, analyzing, managing, mitigating and resolving issues and risks affecting the project. May help escalate issues and risks to management.
Assists in developing and executing project communication plans to ensure timely, accurate, effective communication of project related information to stakeholders. Uses PMO approved methods and tools to ensure consistency. Assists in developing presentations for use in various venues. Helps organize and lead project meetings.
This position will work with confidential and proprietary information that requires a signed IT Employee Invention and Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
Entry Rate: $26.90/hr

Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or business management field OR four or more years of science, engineering, or business management experience. Intermountain Healthcare verifies both degree attainment and educational institution accreditation following an offer of employment.
Excellent data management, analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools to extract data and develop reports and graphs for use in reports.
Manual Dexterity, Speaking, Hearing, Seeing
One year of experience in an IS Organization
Experience within a healthcare or insurance organization.
Experience with MS Project and VersionOne project management software.
Experience managing projects within an agile framework.
Background in working on projects that require task completion from both business and information technology resources.
