The Transitional Year is designed for residents who desire a broad clinical experience to prepare them for a career in a specialty field.
Specialties that may require a first year of training include anesthesiology, radiology, radiation oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and emergency medicine.

The Transitional Year has full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

The 2014-2015 salary will be $54,142.40
- Application Process
In addition to the application form, we require the following information to be submitted via ERAS: USMLE Step 1 score, three letters of recommendation and a Dean's letter.
