Whether the project is one that requires professional expertise, care management or donations to help accomplish the project’s goals, the Intermountain Community Benefit Department has an impact on agencies that partner to provide healthcare services. While donations to the community are not the main focus of the department, it can be an integral part of assisting agencies in fulfilling their missions.
As one of the largest employers in the region, Intermountain Healthcare desires to support the general well being of citizens within its service area. Therefore, Intermountain established the Community Partner Fund that is budgeted each year to support non-profit organizations and events in Utah and southern Idaho.
What We Fund
The Community Partner Fund provides donations for fund raising events and programs and services for non-profit 501(c)3 agencies in Utah and southern Idaho. Donations generally will be made once a year in amounts less than $5,000.
What We Do Not Fund
We will say NO to:
- Government
- Schools
- Individuals
- “Out of Area” organizations
Requesting a Donation
Requests for donations from the Community Partner Fund should be in written form and be accompanied by a copy of the organization’s 501(c)3 letter, along with supporting information about the agency, the event or function, and testimonials. Requests can be submitted at any time during the year and are reviewed on a regular basis. Notification of any donation will be made in writing. Requests should be sent to:
