Everyone is invited to come and learn about being more healthy, have fun together and get ready to Make it a Safe Kids Summer.

Here’s a glance of what you can do at the health fair:

  • The Sheriff’s Department will be offering free finger print identification kits, and fingerprinting for all children. They will also have the law enforcement dogs, SWAT and the Search and Rescue team.

Also, a representative from Heber City’s police and fire departments will provide safety information and a number of police; sheriff and fire vehicles will be on display.

In conjunction with the health fair, kids will have the opportunity to run the final 1.2 miles of the Kid’s Mile-by-Mile Marathon. This race is free for grades pre-K through 6th grades. If parents would like to run the race with their children, there is a $10 entry fee.

Each child that participates on Saturday, May 22, will receive a runner shirt and a finisher medal. Pre-registration is encouraged for an accurate count. There will also be additional adults running with each grade level for help with supervision and safety on the course.
