I oversee the materials management operation for five Intermountain Healthcare hospitals, and I think we play an important role in caring for patients.
Without the supplies we provide, clinicians wouldn’t have the tools they need to provide the best care in a timely way. We’re an extension of the caregiver.
If we do our jobs in a positive way, that helps clinicians perform their own duties positively, which in the end helps the patient.
