Intermountain has launched a new website, IntermountainLiVeWell.org, to strengthen health and wellness efforts in our communities-a cornerstone of our Shared Accountability approach. The new site encourages adults, teens, and children to adopt four areas of healthy behaviors:
- Eat Well. This website section offers eating tips, healthy recipes, cooking demonstrations, and more.
- Move Well. This section includes exercise advice, healthy habits tips, and other resources, including information about Intermountain's LiVe Well Centers at six hospitals. These LiVe Well Centers provide Sports Performance training programs for athletes of all ages and abilities. The Centers also offer fitness assessments and other services.
- Feel Well. This section of the site offers tools to help manage stress, depression, and sleep issues, each of which can diminish a healthy state of mind and body.
- Be Well. Intermountain offers a full range of information and tools to help manage health, learn about symptoms and conditions, explore treatment options, and locate the right healthcare professionals. The Be Well section offers information about screenings, links to Intermountain's weight-management programs, SelectHealth resources, a symptom checker, and helpful videos.
Tools from Intermountain's former LiVe campaign, which promoted childhood fitness, are also found on the IntermountainLiVeWell.org website.
