There seem to be a bazillion different ways to cook or season fish. But this simple recipe is both delicious AND healthy, so it's worth considering for your next family meal.
Combine garlic, leeks, olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Mix in Tupperware and marinate salmon for 15-30 minutes. Store in fridge.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (f).
Set the Sockeye Salmon on a non-stick baking pan, skin-side down, and briefly bake for ~10 minutes. Watch out so it does not burn.
Change oven settings to low broil for 1-3 minutes, watching to avoid burning.
The salmon is ready when it flakes and is still quite pink. Sockeye salmon is very strong in color!
OPTIONAL: Use different herbs, such as dill, in place of cilantro; grill on outdoor grill
