Intermountain Nominated as NRG Voting Member

Oncology Clinical Trials is excited to announce that as of March 1, 2014, three of our main cooperative groups will be combining together. The groups that this will affect are the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel (NSABP), Radiation Therapy Group (RTOG), and Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG).  These groups will now be known as NRG.

Along with this transition, Intermountain Healthcare has been nominated as an NRG Voting Member. The first NRG meeting will be held the week of February 6-9, 2014. Dr. Jeffrey Lee, who is the principal investigator from Intermountain for NRG, will attend the voting member meeting.

Oncology Clinical Trials is looking forward to the new trials that this group’s combination will bring and the important impact it will have on cancer research.
