Every Monday at recess, Butler Elementary principal Christy Waddell brings a bag of jump ropes outside and invites students to join her in a heart-healthy activity. Hayden Peak Elementary Principal Diena Riddle invited a local charter school's jump rope team to perform for an assembly to help get her students excited about doing heart-healthy activities - and the kids were amazing. Jumping rope is a simple activity that the whole family can do, according to experts at the Intermountain Heart Institute at Intermountain Medical Center.​​​

One day he brought his trainer with him so the students could see what their principal was doing to try and win the 100-day challenge.
