Heart Experts Travel to Chicago to Present Innovative Research to Enhance Patient Care

Thousands of heart researchers from around the nation will be gathering in Chicago for the 2014 American Heart Association Scientific Session conference. It’s an opportunity for heart experts and researchers to share and exchange information that will improve patient outcomes. Members of the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute team are making final preparations to present some of the research we have been working on, some for several years.

With that change, hospitals usually see an increase in the number of people who are poisoned by carbon monoxide due to faulty furnaces, using equipment or engines indoors, or limiting outside ventilation.
