Research identifies new approach to more efficiently diagnose blood clots in lungs of patients over age 50

New research from Intermountain Medical Center identifies a new “sliding scale” model used to rule out potentially deadly blood clots in the lungs, known as pulmonary embolisms, is more accurate than current diagnostic methods.
