Temperatures are beginning to warm up and summer is in the air and many people open their windows to let the breeze in. While the fresh air feels good, open windows can pose a serious danger to young children. Did you know: Each year in the United States, 15 to 20 children under the age of 11 die and nearly 15,000 are injured because of falls from windows.

Firefighter Goes 'Cold Turkey' on Sodas and Energy Drinks

It's not easy to make lifestyle changes in an effort to become more heart healthy. One of the 15 firefighters competing in the 2014 My Heart Challenge has gone 'Cold Turkey' on sodas and energy drinks, and nearly three weeks into the challenge is doing great.
