During the winter cold and flu season, most people know that it’s not normal to be coughing.  And, when we hear or see someone cough, we tend to want to “stay away” from the person who is sick.  But for some reason, when the weather gets sunny and warm, many of us forget that it’s not normal to be coughing.

Getting out of your office for even a few minutes to go walking is a great way to get your heart pumping. Principal John Erlacher, Newman Elementary School, has decided to go walking with his students just before lunch every school day. It gets him, and his students, making active and healthy choices on a daily basis, and helps everyone get more heart healthy.
