Plantar fasciitis impacts Utah Jazz rookie Rodney Hood's season

Rodney Hood, rookie swingman for the Utah Jazz, returned to the basketball court last week, helping his team beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 94-85. But during Sunday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, Hood re-injured his foot, taking him out of gameplay yet again. Hood has missed more than a dozen games this season because of painful inflammation in his foot, a condition known as plantar fasciitis. Learn more about plantar fasciitis.

She’d spend every weekend sleeping and trying to store up enough energy to face another week. She was in desperate need of a liver transplant.
