Encouraging kids to get active
We've launched a multi-year campaign that helps get children to be more physically active and eat healthier. The LiVe public service campaign is designed to fight childhood obesity and includes school assemblies for grades 6-9, sponsorship of events that promote physical activity, humorous educational advertisements, and informational offerings for kids, teens, and their parents.

The interactive LiVe website contains helpful materials for parents and children, posters and brochures to download, as well as fun games that teach kids about living a healthy lifestyle.
ViVe campaign in Spanish
In an expanded effort to reduce the obesity rate among children in our communities, the public service campaign has added ViVe, which includes activities specifically developed for Utah's Hispanic community. The ViVe campaign features Spanish public service announcements in the Hispanic media and an interactive Spanish website for parents and their kids.
