Dr. Peter Whitehouse reviews medical content for
Healthwise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help people make better
health decisions. Dr. Whitehouse specializes in neurology with an interest in
geriatrics and neuropsychology and a focus on dementia. He is an
internationally known researcher and author on Alzheimer's disease and
dementia. Dr. Whitehouse is active in research with his primary focus on clinical
neuroscience, particularly relating to cholinergic systems, drug development,
