Handwashing

Keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. When we forget to wash our hands, or don't wash our hands correctly, we can spread these germs to other people.

That's why Intermountain is spreading the word about hand washing as the single most important means of preventing the spread of respiratory infection like colds, coughs, and flu. Even the spread of intestinal infections can be controlled by good hand washing habits.
