What is Anal Cancer?

The anus is the body's opening at the lower end of the intestines. The anus is about an inch and a half long and connects the lower part of the large intestine to the outside of the body. Cancer is an abnormal growth of cells. When these cells grow in the anus, it is called anal cancer.
