The Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic at American Fork Hospital is housed on the hospital’s third floor next to Labor and Delivery. Expert physicians and staff are ready to assist mothers who need extra attention during their pregnancy. Once a week, they provide care for women in high-risk pregnancies who are dealing with:

- High blood pressure
- Heart disease
- Multiples
- Previous premature birth or repetitive miscarriages
Our clinic’s specialists are Donna Dizon-Townson, MD; Glenn Schemmer, MD; Helen Feltovich, MD and Julie Gainer, DO. Using state-of-the-art assessment and management techniques, these board-certified maternal fetal medicine physicians consult with the mother’s regular physician to provide excellent care for both mother and baby. Services include:
- Non-stress tests
- Diagnostic ultrasound
- Amniocentesis
- Umbilical blood sampling
- Fetal echocardiograms
