TOSH & Arthritis Foundation Partner to Offer Free Arthritis Educational Seminars in May5/9/2011
MURRAY, UT — Arthritis is the most common cause of disability in the United States. And the number of people who deal with it is increasing. This month people with arthritis can learn how to better manage arthritis by attending free educational seminars at TOSH–The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray.
The seminars, titled Take Control, run every Wednesday night starting May 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the TOSH Auditorium, 5770 South Fashion Blvd. (300 East) in Murray. Interested participants can register by contacting the Arthritis Foundation at 801-536-0990 or 800-444-4993.
Topics will include working with your rheumatologist, understanding feet and ankle arthritis and eating on the run to enhance your health.
“Osteoarthritis currently affects more than 21 million people in the United States and that number climbs every year,” said Dale Aguirre, manager of TOSH’s Living My Best Osteoarthritis program. “These classes are designed to give information about arthritis and the most current treatment options available.”
The educational seminar is co-sponsored by the TOSH Living My Best Program and the Arthritis Foundation.
