Families and other visitors are welcome to visit a patient during their stay at the hospital. We ask that you be aware of following our visiting hours and guidelines, as well as respect the privacy wishes of the patient and any guidelines provided by his or her medical team.
Amenities
Well visitors only, please. Protect your loved one by staying home if you are sick or have recently been exposed to a contagious illness such as chicken pox, measles, mumps, pertussis (whooping cough), tuberculosis, or rubella. If you have a cough please wear a mask. This helps patients avoid infections that could jeopardize their recovery.
All visitors should wash their hands frequently with soap and water or use hand sanitizer. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your sleeve.
General visiting hours: Hours are 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Check with your nurse for unit-specific guidelines.
Newborn Intensive Care Unit: Parents can visit at any time except 5:30 to 7 a.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. for nursing report and care preparation.
Intensive Care Unit: Immediate family members only are welcome to visit patients at any time, except 5:30 to 7 a.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. for nursing report and care preparation. Children under age 14 are not allowed in the ICU, and only two visitors are allowed at a time.
Women & Children units: Visitors over the age of 14 are allowed at all hours (at the patient’s invitation).
Visiting after 8 p.m. The North main entrance of the River Road Campus is locked from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. and the South entrance is closed from midnight to 6 a.m. To visit after the doors are locked, go to the South entrance and check in with hospital security.
SSend an electronic message to a patient at Dixie Regional Medical Center and a volunteer will print out your message and take it to the patient.

The Gift Shoppe is located in the main concourse on the first level of the River Road campus. The shop offers clothing, magazines, candy, cards, books, flowers, balloons, decor and personal care items. Operated by volunteers, Gift Shoppe proceeds help improve hospital services.

- Afternoon: 2 – 5 p.m.
- Dinner: 5 – 7 p.m.
- Late night: 11 p.m. – 1 a.m.

- Breakfast: Served daily, 7:30 – 9 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Room Service only: 2 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
Hospital Security officers have compressed air to fill low tires, will help jump car batteries, and can connect you with a low-cost company to help if you're locked out. Contact the officer on duty at (435) 688-5000.
Patients and guests can pay their hospital bills at the Cashier’s office, located in the main concourse near the North hospital entrance.

Hospital bills can also be paid online through the online bill pay system.
The Jubilee Homes provides temporary lodging at a minimal cost to family members of critically ill patients. The homes are and are conveniently located across the street from each hospital campus. Space is subject to availability.

Your security while in the hospital is very important to us. If you have questions or concerns about security, feel free to contact the officer on duty at any time by calling (435) 688-5000. Please also call Security if you've lost or found an item.
The LiVe Well Learning Hub is a full service information center & medical library for community members, patients and their families and hospital medical staff. Located on the first level of the Health & Performance Center, the Hub provides access to the latest medical research and findings, along with easy-to-understand tutorials & videos on common conditions and treatments and much more. Computers, a fax machine, and a copy machine are available.
Monday - Friday:8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
A meditation room is located on the second level of the River Road campus, the first room on the right heading North from the elevators. It is a quiet place for meditation and thought and open to patients, family members, and visitors.
Located in the main hospital concourse near the North entrance, the Watson Dixie outpatient pharmacy fills outpatient prescriptions and offers a small selection of over-the-counter medications.

Telephones are available in all patient rooms. To dial outside the hospital, first press “9.” You can make long distance calls using a calling card. If you need help with your phone, please ask your nurse. You are also welcome to use your cell phone in all areas of the hospital except for operating rooms or patient rooms in critical care and emergency departments.
WiFi internet access is available for public use throughout the hospital. You don't need a password or anything to access the network, "Intermountain_Guest" but you will be asked to agree to the hospital's terms of use.
We work with local religious leaders to help meet the spiritual needs of patients and family members. If you or your family would like a member of the clergy to visit, or for more information about services, your nurse can help you. Spiritual leaders of all faiths are welcome to visit their members. You can arrange a meeting with the hospital's chaplain by calling (435) 251-2448.
Valet parking is a free service available at the north entrance of the River Road Campus, the 24 hour entrance of the 400 East Campus (on 500 South) and the main entrance of the Health & Performance Center. The valet will be available, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The valet will meet you at your car and park it for you so you can go straight into the hospital. No tips, please!
