The Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Education Center at Dixie Regional Medical Center provides a place where cancer patients and their loved ones can receive free, personal assistance to help them through trying times. Our center collaborates with professionals at the Huntsman Cancer Institute to offer you reliable and up-to-date information about cancer prevention, treatment, and resources in both English and Spanish.
In addition to information, patients can use the center to find support groups and access valid electronic services through the center’s free Internet access. The center even helps them find wigs, hats and scarves at no cost.
Trained volunteers staff the center on Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a cancer nurse specialist is available for consultations on Thursdays. The center is located on the second floor of the 400 East Campus of Dixie Regional Medical Center.
