In July of last year I fell and tore both ACL's. After surgery and having an extended stay in the hospital, I was released to physical therapy. I was lucky enough to have Brad Zollinger as my physical therapist.
What a wonderful person, he knew when to push and when to let me be. I cannot begin to express how fortunate I was to have him help me. Thank you

Yesterday at 11:30 I arrived at the hospital and went through all of the paperwork and registration procedures. Registration was a good experience and done with care and courtesy. Someone from the MRI area came out and took me back to a bed where we filled out more paperwork and was interviewed more. They had me dress properly and put in an intravenous line. The nurse tested the line to make sure it was working asking if I could taste a metallic flavor, which I did. During my time there I was impressed with how young these people are. The young lady that came and talked to me about the procedure explained that under sedation I would not be completely out as I would with anesthesia and would be aware of what was going on. She along with others completely walked me through what was going to happen (I was about to back out) and assured me that if at anytime I wanted to stop they would do so.
They took me into the room with the big new GE MRI and moved my very anxious body onto the machine. The room was nice and cool which was very helpful. Every consideration was made to make me feel comfortable, a warm blanket was put on my legs, ear plugs were put in my ears and the uncomfortable face mask was replaced with a cannula in my nose.
In just a few moments I was near out and I remember starting to travel into the MRI and then I was out. About 15 min before the procedure ended I started to wake up with a right arm that was hurting. They let me move the arm a bit to help it and asked me to hang on for about 10 more minutes. I was uncomfortable and with a little anxiety they were able to complete the procedure.
After it was over they wheeled me on the MRI cart back to my bed and took care of me while I continued to wake up. The turkey sandwich on wheat bread was excellent, along with the applesauce and juice. My wife ate the Sun Chips and I drank cola.
What a wonderful ending to a day beginning with much anxiety.
