Intermountain Medical Center serves as the flagship medical center for the Intermountain Healthcare system. The 100-acre campus is made up of five specialty hospitals covering more than 1.3 million square feet, and is located at 5300 S. State Street in Murray, Utah, in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. It is the largest medical campus in Utah and one of the largest in the western United States.

Carolyn Barnes Gardner Women and Newborn Center
A full range of prenatal, maternity, and labor and delivery services is available, as well as the latest generation diagnostic equipment and treatment capabilities, provided by obstetricians, gynecologists, certified nurse midwives, family practitioners, and perinatologists.
Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Trauma and Emergency Center
Intermountain Medical Center contains one of the only two major adult Level 1 trauma centers in Utah; and the largest in the state with 40 rooms. It is the home base for Intermountain Life Flight.
J.L. Sorenson Patient Tower
Most of the medical center’s patient rooms are found in this 12-story building, which also includes five intensive care units. This is the location of world-class research, teaching, education, and critical care patient services.
Intermountain Heart Institute at Intermountain Medical Center
Intermountain Heart Institute at Intermountain Medical Center is the most advanced heart hospital in the Intermountain West with highly specialized experts in all areas of heart care.
George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Outpatient Care Center
This six-story building brings together all the services a patient may need during an outpatient hospital visit. The pavilion contains surgical services, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, PET-CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, and nuclear medicine), endoscopy, a retail pharmacy, physician offices, a neuroscience institute, and an outpatient laboratory.
Jon and Karen Huntsman Cancer Center
Intermountain Medical Center offers a full range of cancer diagnostic and treatment options, including sophisticated surgical techniques and a gamma and cyber knife. Intermountain and the Huntsman Cancer Institute collaborate on cancer education and clinical cancer care.
