The Community Health Information Center (CHIC) is a health information resource center for patients, their families, hospital staff, students, and community members.
Our staff at the center can help you or your loved ones learn how to maintain good health or cope with health-related issues. We have four public access computers, and you can print from your phone or mobile device to a wireless printer. Books are available to borrow, and selected health literature is available free of charge. The librarians can help you and are happy to assist you in finding information on a variety of topics including:
- Diseases and conditions
- Healthy lifestyles
- Medical testing
- Physical and mental health
- Surgeries and other procedures
- Treatment options
- And more
The CHIC is located in the main patient tower (Building 5) on Level 1 near the cafeteria.
