In 2003, the Intermountain Research and Medical Foundation, formerly the Deseret Foundation launched an ambitious campaign to raise $50 million to help build Intermountain Medical Center. The hospital was to be Intermountain Healthcare’s flagship medical campus, and among the nation’s most technologically-advanced, patient-friendly medical centers.
Now, that vision becomes reality. “I salute all of our donors, supporters, trustees, volunteers, physicians, employees and staff members who made this major accomplishment possible." says Ronald S. Hanson, chair of the Intermountain Research and Medical Foundation, formerly the Deseret Foundation Board of Trustees.
Donations came from Intermountain employees, physicians, volunteers, philanthropic organizations and citizens. To all, Intermountain gives its thanks.
