Cancer research is an important priority at Intermountain Cancer Centers. Our physicians participate in a wide spectrum of clinical trials, which lead to new treatment options and new technologies for cancer care. Patients at Intermountain Cancer Centers often have the chance to participate in ground-breaking studies, which can result in improved care for all cancer patients. Clinical trials are the final stages of research for new cancer treatments or new ways of using known treatments.
