Advance Care Planning
Advance care planning means thoughtfully considering a time when you may not be able to make healthcare decisions for yourself. Planning ahead can help clarify your values and give you peace of mind, and put your loved ones at ease. Visit Intermountain Healthcare’s web site on Advance Care Planning.
For Families & Visitors
The amenities at the Intermountain Medical Center are available to patients and family of the Heart Institute.
All of our inpatient units have an open door policy without specific visiting hours. Please be respectful of your loved one’s rest and ask his/her nurse if there are any special circumstances.
Intensive Care Unit. Immediate family members over the age of 12 are welcome at any time around the clock, but may want to avoid the time between 7 to 8:30, both morning and evening, for nursing reports and care preparation.
Well visitors only, please. Protect your loved one by staying home if you are sick or have recently been exposed to a contagious illness such as chicken pox, measles, mumps, pertussis (whooping cough), tuberculosis, or rubella.
