Imaging Services at LDS Hospital offer the latest in technology with state-of-the-art equipment and licensed specialists that are known nationwide.


The Angiography Department at LDS Hospital offers the latest in digital radiology equipment and a new facility for the convenience of patients. This department is staffed by four licensed technologists and offers coverage 24 hours a day.

Computed Tomography (CT Scan)

We offer specialists in neuro CT and trauma services with the latest CT technology available. We have six licensed technologists and four radiologists. 

Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine offers a full range of nuclear medicine studies including cardiac stress testing and thyroid services. A new facility offers patients convenient parking and privacy during examinations. A staff of five licensed nuclear medicine technologists and modern equipment make it possible to schedule examinations immediately upon request.

General Radiology

This department offers total exam coverage and radiologist interpretation 24 hours a day. All technologists are registered and accredited and the physicians are board-certified radiologists specializing in chest and musculoskeletal radiology.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The Magnetic Resonance Department offers a full range of MR examinations including the latest in MR angiography, neuroradiology and musculoskeletal examinations. Four board-certified radiologists specialize in neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology and MR angiography. 


LDS Hospital has a fully accredited ACR mammography program under the direction of a board-certified radiologist and fellowship-trained mammographer. There are also six certified mammography technologists. Our new facility offers mammography patients convenient parking, registration and private exam/dressing rooms. The program has three certified state-of-the-art mammography machines and breast ultrasound capability. Abnormal mammography screening patients will be offered follow-up studies on the same day. The Ultrasound Department has recently moved into a new four-room facility that offers convenient parking, registration and patient privacy. This department is staffed by four licensed ultrasonographers under the direction of medical specialists. Ultrasound has state-of-the-art equipment including color Doppler ultrasound.
