LDS Hospital offers a full range of services for patients' emotional and behavioral needs.
Counseling and support services are available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Inpatient care includes continuum of services planning, which covers a patient from pre-admission to post-discharge.
Patients and their loved ones receive support in their adjustment to:

- Community resource referrals
- Financial information
Intermountain's Dayspring program is designed to help people and families who suffer from all forms of chemical dependency including alcohol, street drugs and prescription drugs. Assessments are offered at no cost.
Inpatient detoxification and treatment, day treatment, evening outpatient treatment and adolescent treatment are available. Family involvement is encouraged throughout each Dayspring program and aftercare is a key component of Dayspring's long-term success.
Two full years of aftercare are encouraged.
