(Logan, UT) November 4, 2010. Learn healthy tips for reducing stress during the holiday season, avoiding weight-gain, and reducing back pain. Logan Regional Hospital is hosting a free Healthy Dialogues event on Saturday, November 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event includes free health presentations, refreshments, and great giveaways. The hospital is sponsoring Healthy Dialogues to thank the community and to celebrate Logan Regional’s 30th anniversary at their current location on 500 East 1400 North.
Healthy Dialogues includes three separate speaking presentations by healthcare experts. Participants can attend one, two, or all three sessions. Seating is limited on a first-come basis. No reservations are necessary.
The speaking presentations include:
- 9:30 a.m., Classrooms 1-4 - Enjoy the Holiday Season with More Energy and Less Stress, presented by Terri Flint, PhD, clinical social worker and director of Employee Health Services, Intermountain Healthcare.
- 10:30 a.m., Classroom 8 - Reduce Your Back Pain: Treatment Options Without Surgery, presented by Cameron Peterson, M.D., physical medicine, Canyon View Orthopedics.
- 11:30 a.m., Classrooms 1-4 - Smart Tips to Avoid Holiday Weight Gain, presented by Terel Anderson and Mindy Anhder, registered dietitians, Logan Regional Hospital. Includes free recipe book, measuring spoons, and tasters table.
