July, 13 2013 - Italian for BIG RIDE, the Cache Gran Fondo is a multi-distance ride designed for riders of different abilities. 100 and 50-mile options take riders through wide-open roads, challenging hill climbs, and well-stocked support stations. There are also opportunities to win GREAT prizes and and have fun with other riders who are celebrating healthy lifestyles. 100% of proceeds will go to fund breast cancer screenings for the women of Cache Valley and the surrounding area.

As of February 2013, more than 100 PCIs (percutaneous coronary interventions) have been performed in the new cath lab. Logan Regional Hospital is the only facility in Cache Valley to provide full diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation services for many heart patients. Interventional cardiology services are made possible in part thanks to generous contributions by the hospital family and community residents to Logan Regional Hospital Foundation. Donors from the hospital family and local community pledged $450,000 of the total $3.2 million cost through Logan Regional Hospital Foundation’s capital giving campaign.
