100 Years of Healing

December 2010 will mark McKay-Dee Hospital Center’s 100th year of providing healthcare to residents in Ogden and surrounding northern Utah communities.

On December 29, 1910, The Thomas D. Dee Memorial Hospital opened its doors to residents in northern Utah. The non-profit hospital was built by Annie Taylor Dee who was determined to honor the memory of her husband and son who died due a lack of proper healthcare in the community.

One hundred years and three hospitals later, Annie Taylor Dee’s memorial to her family has succeeded in providing not-for-profit healthcare services that have saved thousands of lives. With each passing decade, McKay-Dee Hospital Center has been a healthcare leader with groundbreaking innovations in technologies, systems, and treatments – Healing for 100 years.

To celebrate their centennial, McKay-Dee Hospital has community events planned throughout the year. Please join us in celebrating 100 years of Healing.
