Annie Taylor Dee Guest Home

The Annie Taylor Dee Guest Home is a “home away from home” not a hotel or motel. It is designed as a healing environment for families in a medical crisis. Located on McKay-Dee’s South Campus, it's within easy walking distance of the Hospital, grocery stores, restaurants, and other services. The new home combines the three guest houses into one larger home providing a relaxing and contemporary environment that reflects the beauty of the Wasatch Mountains.

The 16,000 square foot, two-level guest home has ample community areas for guests to gather to share concerns and experiences, as well as fully furnished suites that offer guests an opportunity for solitude. The garden entryway creates an inviting, tranquil patio that opens into a spacious lobby.

Needs of Our Patients

Programs are varied and many at McKay-Dee and range from support to celebrate cancer survivors to helping pregnant women and their families whose baby has been diagnosed with a fatal anomaly. Programs arise from the needs of our patients and include:

Education

Advancements are continually happening in healthcare and in an effort to increase quality outcomes for medical diagnoses, we continually look for resources to fund education needs.  Staying on the cutting edge of medical advancements requires continuing education for our clinicians, and other healthcare staff.  We feel it is important to maintain the knowledge required to serve quality healthcare and appreciate the support received from our community.    

Equipment

Advancements in medical equipment also change at a fast pace. Therefore, equipment needs are always on the forefront of Foundation support.  Needs range from large pieces of equipment such as Oxygen Hyperbaric Chamber to promote healing in wound and diabetic patients, to smaller pieces of equipment such as a Cooling Blanket System to prevent brain injuries in infants.
