Give of your time. Change your life and the life of others.
A nine-foot Yamaha Conservatory Grand Piano, one of only nine in the United States, graces the hospital's main lobby. The piano was donated in memory of Elizabeth Dee Shaw Stewart, a long-time hospital volunteer and philanthropist. Volunteers from our community audition to be part of our piano guild and play this beautiful instrument on a regular basis. If you are interested in donating your time to play this piano and help create a healing environment for our patients and their families, please contact the McKay-Dee Hospital Foundation at (801)387-7175 to have an application sent to you.
Blankets, Diversion Kits, and Eagle Scout projects greatly benefit the hospital. The following document provides a list of items that are currently needed in various departments at the hospital. Please contact the McKay-Dee Hospital Foundation to set-up your service project, (801)387-7175.
Special Event Volunteers
The foundation has many volunteer opportunities to assist in preparation of its events. Special event volunteers contribute their time and talents in the areas that they feel they can make the biggest impact. We invite you to serve as a volunteer for one of our special events. Please contact the McKay-Dee Hospital Foundation at (801)387-7175 for more information.
Women’s Council of McKay-Dee Hospital Foundation
The Women’s Council of McKay-Dee Hospital Foundation was founded in 1984 as a group of dedicated women who volunteer their time and resources to benefit the patients at McKay-Dee Hospital Center. - Promote and plan educational conference, screenings, programs and opportunities to benefit health care professionals and members of the community.
- Promote awareness and advocacy for people with special needs by sponsoring support groups, and by providing an annual “Breakfast with Santa” event for children with special needs.
