Lunch: Served daily, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: Served daily, 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Mountain View Café and Grille
Located on the first floor near the Visitor Entrance, the café is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. with a variety of foods available including grilled items and a salad bar. Room Service is provided at no charge for inpatients and for a fee to their guests from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. Once you call in your order, you food is prepared and delivered fresh to your room within 45 minutes.

Grounds for Coffee
Grounds for Coffee is located on the first floor at McKay-Dee Hospital. This coffee shop offers a variety of specialty hot and cold coffee beverages, and hot chocolate.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Gift Shop, on the first floor, is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The shop offers baby gifts, magazines, candy, cards, books, flowers, balloons, decor and personal care items. Operated by volunteers, the Gift Shop proceeds help improve hospital services. To contact the Gift Shop, call (801) 387-7810.
The L.T. Dee Pharmacy is located on the main floor near the Valet Entrance. The pharmacy fills outpatient prescriptions and offers a selection of over-the-counter medications and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pharmacy will also fill your prescription orders and deliver them to your room. Hospital Lost & Found is located in the Security office on the first floor. Stop by or call the office at (801) 387-7100 during normal business hours to check on lost items, or contact the officer on duty at any time by calling (801) 387-7100.
We work with local religious leaders to help meet the spiritual needs of patients and family members. If you or your family would like a member of the clergy to visit, or for more information about services, your nurse can help you. Spiritual leaders of all faiths are welcome to visit their members.
A non-denominational chapel, which also serves as a meditation room, is located on the second floor next to the ICU waiting room and is open to patients, family members, and visitors. Weekly worship services conducted in the chapel include LDS sacrament services and Catholic Mass. Protestant communion is also available on an individual basis.
A prayer roll is available in the chapel. Volunteer chaplains check this regularly and pray for those needing assistance. LDS Church sponsored services are held on Sundays in the Mountain View Cafe Conference Room from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Catholic Pastoral Care team visits daily. For other Pastoral Care needs please contact your own faith leader, the patient's bedside nurse, or the Pastoral Care Office at (801) 387-3185.
If you need someone who can speak your language, including sign language, dial 0 for help.
Social workers are here to help you and your family members. They can give counseling, help loved one’s better understand your care, and help plan your return home. Our social workers can also help with transportation and provide other assistance. To reach them, contact your nurse.
Your security while in the hospital is very important to us. If you have questions or concerns about security, feel free to stop by the Safety & Security office on the first floor during normal business hours, or contact the officer on duty at any time by calling (801) 387-7100.
Our Patient Relations team can help you with any part of your hospital care. We want to be sure you get courteous and timely care. If you have a complaint or grievance about the quality of your care, you or your family member can contact the immediate supervisor of the area.
If your concerns are not resolved, you or your family member may call Patient Relations at (801) 387-8888 or call (801) 627-2800 and ask to speak with the Administrator on call. To file a grievance with the State of Utah, call 1-800-662-4157 or send a letter to the Utah Bureau of Health Facility Licensing, Certification and Resident Assessment, P.O. Box 144103, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4103; or call the Joint Commission at 1-800-994-6610.
Patient rooms offer a telephone, television, and free Wi-Fi Internet access for your personal electonic devices. The telephone and a television remote are by your bedside. To dial outside the hospital, first press “9.” You can make long distance calls using a calling card. If you need help with your phone, please ask your nurse or PCA. You are also welcome to use your cell phone in all areas of the hospital except for operating rooms or for patient rooms in critical care and emergency departments.
