Porter Family Medicine, established in 1952, exists to provide two distinct and equally important service needs to our community.
First and foremost, the Porter Clinic is here to provide healthcare needs for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Our doctors and staff assume responsibility for the total healthcare of the individual and family, which emphasizes continuity in the physician-patient relationship.
Second, Porter Family Medicine is the primary care practice setting for teaching resident physicians the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of family medicine. Maintaining the delicate balance between physician education and patient care is the utmost priority for our clinic.
