Angela Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor working as a child and family therapist at McKay-Dee Behavioral Health Institute. Her primary responsibilities are to evaluate children and families and provide therapy to help resolve issues. She primarily works with children age 12 and under.
She has experience in individual, family and group counseling, and uses play and creative techniques to teach concepts to children. Ms. Jackson can work with a variety of clinical problems including: depression, mood disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, parenting issues, child abuse, attention and hyperactivity problems, school disruptions, divorce, blended family, death, eating disorders, elimination disorders and psychological symptoms relating to health conditions.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology, Ms. Jackson received her master’s degree in health psychology from Northern Arizona University in 1990. She has been employed by McKay-Dee Hospital since 1998.
