Bryan Bushman, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, who works primarily with children and adolescents at the McKay-Dee Behavioral Health Institute. He provides treatment for depression, anxiety, oppositional behaviors, attention and hyperactivity problems, elimination disorders, and self-injurious behaviors. He also provides psychological testing for learning problems, ADHD, cognitive delay and dysfunction, and mood disorders. Dr. Bushman specializes in pediatric psychology. He has received training in helping children and teens cope with medical illness, including chronic and recurring pain.
Originally from Texas, Dr. Bushman received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at Utah State University. He has worked in general medical and pediatric settings. His training includes completion of an internship specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders (Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA) and a post-doctoral fellowship with an emphasis on helping children and teens cope effectively with medical disease (St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN), such as cancer and sickle cell anemia.
